I am passionate about creating a bright, inviting, and organized space for my young learners! I want my students to feel welcomed from the minute the walk into the room.

My classroom runs on learning, laughter, fun, singing, and movement. Research shows that students retain information better when movement is integrated. I often say, "If you get them moving, they will remember!"

In my classroom, we have a song, dance, or cheer for just about everything! We do sight word exercises daily, lettercise to our letters and sounds, and sing and dance about the "teenage numbers." This makes learning fun and engaging!

Your child will grow immensely in reading, writing, and math this year. Most importantly though, my goal is that my students will LOVE coming to school. Kindergarten is your child's first experience in the District, and I will do my best to make it a year they will always remember. I love my job, and I'll love your kids!
