POW helps passionate outdoor people protect the places we live and lifestyles we love from climate change. We are a community of athletes, scientists, creatives, and business leaders advancing non-partisan policies that protect our world today and for future generations.
POW X SKI FOR SNOW
If you are not familiar with Protect Our Winters, it is a non-profit organization that aims to inform the public about environmentally conscious legislation, and encourage people to talk to their representatives about making a difference. Their advocacy has made a major impact. For example, they recently ran a campaign to have Olympic athletes talk to Senators and Representatives to raise awareness for the Inflation Reduction Act, which was just signed into law. It includes the largest, most impactful climate legislation ever passed, and invests $369 billion into clean energy, clean transportation and green technology.

Ski for Snow will send all of our donations to POW and will continue to spread awareness of current environmental issues. We hope that our fundraiser will introduce more people to the power of advocacy and with each step taken, a difference will be made.
