The goal of our event is to GATHER AS A winter-loving COMMUNITY AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN our ENVIRONmEnT.
Ski For Snow is a fundraiser put together by Caleb Hunter and Elena Hicks, seniors at Minnetonka High School, who are hoping to raise money for Protect Our Winters. Ski For Snow invites you to fundraise through a virtual Strava challenge, online donations, or the in-person event that will take place on February 11th, 2023 at Theodore Wirth Park, Golden Valley MN. Ski For Snow hopes to join together the Nordic Skiing community both virtually and directly to make a difference in the environmental issues that are affecting our winters. By partnering with Protect Our Winters (POW), Caleb, Elena, and the community will be able to advocate by informing the public about environmentally conscious legislation and encourage people to talk to their representatives about making a difference.
