The Microscopy Facility (directed by Heather Chenoweth) exists to oversee the many research-grade microscopes that students can be trained to use, as well as the large inventory of teaching-grade microscopes that exist throughout the Science Center. Both the research- and teaching-grade microscopes are used the Biological Sciences, Neuroscience, and Geology departments, but interested students can also get access to these microscopes to satisfy questions they might have about the microscopic world.
