Our Mission
The Outing Club seeks to cultivate and enrich Mount Holyoke students' appreciation for and access to nature by providing trips, leadership training, and community outreach in the outdoors.

MHOC's activities range from on-campus events to trips to outside locations. We focus on sharing a passion for the outdoors and increasing accessibility to outdoor activities for everyone.

Land Acknowledgement
Land Acknowledgement
Mount Holyoke College is located in Western Massachusetts on the ancestral land of the Nonotuck people. It is also important to acknowledge the neighboring Indigenous nations who continue to be connected to this land: the Nipmuc and the Wampanoag to the East, the Mohegan and Pequot to the South, the Mohican to the West and the Abenaki to the North.
