Game On Staff

Game on! is led by Kenneth Mulder and Randy Gordon.  Kenneth is a Visiting Associate Professor in Data Science at Mount Holyoke College.  Kenneth is an applied mathematician and avid gamer.  The program is based on a college course Kenneth previously taught at Green Mountain College in Vermont where students learned a variety of interesting math concepts using board games instead of text books.  Kenneth has seen the ability of board games to be an effective medium for math education in his students as well as in his own kids.

Randy  is a Mathematics and Personal Finance teacher at Northampton High School.  He is certified in History and Mathematics.  Randy enjoys playing strategy games and role-playing games in his free time, both tabletop and on his PS5.
