I am an assistant professor of computer science at Mount Holyoke College, where I devote time to teaching undergraduates and conducting research in planning algorithms and their applications in robotics and computational biology. I am passionate about education and broadening participation in computing.
Summer research opportunities: If interested in exploring motion planning algorithm design for robotics and computational biology, please email me with your cv and unofficial transcript. Summer students are expected to apply to the UR2PhD research training course.
April: Our paper on RRT-Based Motion Planning Using Topological Guidance was recently published. Link
April: I was recently invited to a panel on the ethical, moral, and cultural issues of AI at the AI@SLAC conference.Â
We hit the ground running in our first summer at the Robotics Simulations Education lab (RoSE Lab). We set up our hardware, assembling Duckietown robots and getting an introduction of mobile robots. Click the link to read more on the weekly progress.
