Asymptotic Analysis

• Office hours: In order to help students in my other class, I'll be in Fimbel (in Prospect) for the first half of office hours (10:30 - 11:10am). I'm not sure which space I can use, but I will try for one of the smaller classrooms (past the kitchen, to the right); otherwise, I'll be in the main workspace (probably closer to the sewing stations). I'll go back to my office Clapp 221 for the rest of my office hours (11:20 - 12pm). 

• Wed office hours cancelled.

• Thu class time -- I'll have to leave about 9:30 to line up for inauguration. The rest of the time is open work time for your pods/teams.

  • green: working, no questions

  • yellow: have a question, but not blocked from doing work

  • red: have a question, blocked from doing work

  • blue: done, just hanging out

Remember: this is an opportunity to practice clear, concise and precise communication while working through the material!

• Throughout the course, each of you must volunteer at least once to serve as the facilitator, who will:

  • Make sure everyone has a chance for their voice to be heard. For example, saying:
    
    “X, we haven’t heard from you in a while. Do you have thoughts on this problem or is there another one you’d like to shift to?”

  • Keep track of time to cover as much of each problem as possible

  • Post a clearly articulated report with a summary and/or questions to the corresponding Ed Discussion category

    • Please be sure to also post your pod # and other team members, as in “Report for Pod 2 (Audrey St. John, Mary Lyon, …)”

    • If you’d prefer to use a doc, post the link or turn it into an image to attach

    • If you have work from the board, you can take a photo and post it

• • Worksheet + Facilitator report (if you did not do so already):

    1. Use Wednesday evening or Thursday morning's class time to reconvene and finish. 

    2. If you get stuck/done, refer to the solutions (posted to moodle). 

    3. Facilitator, please post your report to Ed Discussion before 9/21 EOD.
