Foundation Stage
Children in Foundation Stage have enjoyed creating their very own loaded fries in preparation for their stand at the Lincolnshire Show.
They enjoyed choosing their own ingredients and tasting foods that they had not tasted before.
Key Stage One
This week in KS1, Year 2 enjoyed their trip to Rand Farm, where they learned about animals and farm life through hands-on experiences. Across the school, children explored the outdoors by developing their map skills and using simple maps to navigate their environment. They also designed bug hotels, thinking carefully about how to create safe habitats for wildlife. In Computing, pupils improved their digital skills by creating digital music, experimenting with sounds and rhythms while discovering how technology can be used creatively.
Lower Key Stage Two
Despite the rainy weather, it has been another busy and productive week in Lower Key Stage 2. Our Year 4 pupils have made us incredibly proud with their focused and positive attitude towards the Multiplication Tables Check. They have worked extremely hard, and we are confident that their efforts will be rewarded.
In English, we have enjoyed exploring a range of new poems and have been using our imaginations to create ideas for the special items we would keep in our own ‘magic box’. The children have particularly loved learning and performing Walking with My Iguana by Brian Moses. Their enthusiasm and enjoyment have been wonderful to see and have certainly brought plenty of smiles to our faces.
In Maths, we have been developing our understanding of decimals, focusing on counting in tenths and representing these accurately on a number line. We have used place value counters to help us visualise decimals and tackle more challenging reasoning problems with confidence.
Despite the wet weather, we have continued to enjoy our PE lessons indoors, where we have been developing our tennis skills. The children have mastered the ‘ready’ position and have practised feeding the ball accurately to a partner, showing excellent teamwork and determination.
Upper Key Stage Two
We have been enjoying the summer days and making the most of opportunities for PE on the field in between the showers! Year 6 pupils recently benefited from an informative fire safety talk delivered by the Lincolnshire Stay Safe Partnership, helping them learn important skills for staying safe. In UKS2, we have been reviewing and improving previous writing in preparation for publishing their final pieces. In Art, pupils have been exploring architecture and developing their drawing skills through the use of perspective. We began the new geography unit and explored what was unique to our local area. Performance rehearsals are now well underway, and we would be grateful if you could continue to support your child by helping them learn their lines and gather any required costumes.
39 pupils have maintained 100% attendance so far this academic year.

Swimming information for term 6 has been emailed to all families. Please check your email for more information on year group swimming days.
Swimming will commence from Tuesday 16th June as per the swimming timetable.

You are welcome to attend our summer garden party on Thursday 25th June 2026.
Parents can collect children from classrooms at 3:00 to attend the event, which will be held on the school field and KS2 playground.
There will be a BBQ, entertainment from groups of children on the main stage, year 6 garden games, stalls, a bouncy castle and much more.
All profits made on the day will go towards playground equipment for both playgrounds.
Bring a chair or a picnic blanket and enjoy the fun.
This is a cash only event.
Any children at Premier Education will need to be collected by parents as normal.
New 24/7 Mental Health Crisis Text and Online Chat Service Launches in Lincolnshire
People across Lincolnshire can now access confidential urgent mental health support through a new text and online chat service called ChatHealth. The service offers a discreet and accessible alternative for people who may find phone calls or face‑to‑face contact difficult. ChatHealth has been developed to support individuals experiencing a mental health crisis and is an extension of the NHS 111 option 2 mental health support provided by the Lincolnshire 111 Mental Health Team. It enables secure two‑way messaging between people seeking help and trained healthcare professionals.
Support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with the team aiming to respond to messages within two hours. Anyone needing urgent mental health advice can send a text or start an online chat.

Our School Council members have been busy planning and preparing their stall for the upcoming Garden Party. It has been fabulous to see them carrying out their duties in such a responsible and reliable way, demonstrating excellent teamwork, organisation and leadership skills. They have shown great enthusiasm and commitment as they work together to develop ideas and ensure their stall is a success.
Our wonderful Happy and Healthy Ambassadors have been busy developing their own wellbeing over the last half term. They have taken part in outdoor activities, connected with nature and worked on team skills during their weekly meet ups at lunchtime. They are particularly proud of their final newsletter of the year. They will be sharing this in their own classes. This will also be sent home for you to try out some of their suggestions.
On Thursday, Sports Crew delivered a whole-school assembly about the 2026 FIFA World Cup. They shared interesting facts about the tournament, including the host countries and the number of teams taking part. They inspired their friends to learn more about the competition and get excited about supporting the tournament when it begins.
Eco-committee have been busily working on their next mission; to reduce food waste. Today, they delivered a whole school assembly on their first steps at tackling the food waste from school meals. They are introducing food waste and non-food waste bins into the lunch hall so they can carefully measure and see a reduction in waste across the next term. They have also introduced a kindness bucket for unused food that can be safely shared with others.
