As we reach the end of another wonderful academic year, I would like to take this opportunity to thank every member of our school community for the part you have played in making this year such a success.
Our children continue to amaze us with their enthusiasm, kindness and willingness to make a difference. They have grown academically, personally and continue to shape those wonderfully unique personalities that we all know and love. A special thank you goes to our Little Leaders who have taken on important responsibilities throughout the year. Whether serving as members of the Eco-Committee, School Council, Healthy and Happy Ambassadors, Junior Road Safety Officers, Reading Ambassadors, Sports Crew or Digital Leaders, they have demonstrated leadership, commitment and pride in our school. They have been fantastic role models for their peers, and we are incredibly proud of all they have achieved.
I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to our dedicated Governing Body for their continued support, guidance, challenge and commitment to ensuring the very best for our school.
To our amazing staff, thank you for your hard work, professionalism and unwavering dedication. Your care, enthusiasm and commitment help to create a nurturing environment where every child can thrive, and I am incredibly grateful to work alongside such a talented team. I hope you have a well deserved and happy summer break with your families.
To our parents and carers, thank you for your ongoing encouragement, trust and partnership throughout the year. Working together enables us to provide the best possible experiences and opportunities for our children. Thank you for trusting us with what matters most to you.
We are also incredibly fortunate to have so many wonderful volunteers who generously give their time to enrich school life. Whether you have listened to children read, supported educational visits, brought along our much-loved PAT Dog, shared your career experiences with classes, or worked tirelessly through FOMS to raise funds and organise events, your contributions have made a real difference. Thank you for your kindness, generosity and continued support.
As we say goodbye to our Year 6 children and the families who are leaving us, we do so with enormous pride. Watching our oldest pupils grow into confident, resilient and compassionate young people has been a privilege. We wish each and every one of you every success and happiness as you begin the next exciting chapter of your journey. You will always remain a valued part of our school family. Your secondary schools are very lucky to have you. Thank you for the memories.
At the same time, we are delighted to welcome our new Reception children and their families, who will be joining us in September. We look forward to getting to know you and hope you will enjoy becoming part of our caring and supportive school community.
Finally, thank you once again to everyone who has contributed to another fantastic year. I hope you all enjoy a well-deserved summer break filled with fun, laughter and special time together. Stay safe, take time to relax and recharge, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back in September, ready for another exciting year of learning and new adventures.
