In 2017 in Hitoyoshi, a small town two hours south of Kumamoto Japan I was approached by Mrs Madoka. She is a member of the Aoi Aso Tourism group and heard me telling the mythos and stories of the town and she asked for my contact info, little did I know she would work to have me come back to do a youtube series and be featured in a economic lecture, meat the mayor and political party representing the town! Some of my favorite memories include wearing Kimono, and Samurai Armor, then eating local specialities and traveling to different historic resorts and breweries including Hakutake, Fukuno, and Sengetsu.
