Investing in Students, Building Our Community’s Future
The Career & Technical Education (CTE) Building is designed to meet the evolving needs of both students and the workforce. As demand for skilled professionals continues to grow in areas like construction, engineering, technology, and STEM fields, our district is stepping forward with a facility that bridges education and opportunity.
Why This Building Matters
Education is changing, and students need more than traditional classrooms to prepare for the real world. The CTE Building provides:
Hands-on experiences with industry tools and equipment.
Collaborative spaces where students can problem-solve and innovate.
Direct connections to local employers and career opportunities.
This project ensures that students graduate not only with diplomas, but also with the skills, confidence, and credentials necessary to succeed in life after high school.
Key Features
Auto Mechanics — a fully equipped lab where students learn automotive repair and maintenance.
Nurse Assisting — training and certification opportunities for students pursuing healthcare careers.
Welding Lab — hands-on shop space for welding techniques and certifications.
Community Driven
The CTE Building will also serve as a hub for lifelong learning. Community members will benefit from night and weekend adult education opportunities such as EMT certification, CPR, OSHA training, agriculture certificates, and other skills-based programs. As the facility expands, additional training opportunities will be introduced, ensuring this building remains a valuable resource for the entire community.
