A Citizen Science Workshop
This workshop will be led by Jessica Callahan, who is the president of the Artemisia Chapter of the Montana Native Plant Society. In this workshop we will discuss iNaturalist and how it can be used to track species populations and distribution as well as help with species identification.
As part of the workshop we will introduce the citizen science project that the Artemisia Chapter has set up with iNaturalist to track native plants in the Billings area.
Please have the iNaturalist app pre-installed on your phone.

Join us for a hands-on vegetative propagation workshop where you'll learn practical techniques for propagating native plants. Participants will get the opportunity to prepare their own cuttings and take them home. This workshop will be led by Eric Puetz and Danella Stapley.
