All about the teacher Mrs. Novy

I LOVE teaching !  This is year 32 for me and I am still having a blast.  I have been teaching 4th and 5th graders for most of my years, but I am super excited to teach 3rd grade this year  I teach in an amazing program where parents work in the classroom every week- Marysville Cooperative Education Program #mcep.  We are a public school with super awesome involved parents.  I am super lucky to work with another teacher, Mr. Palmer, and we team-teach STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) often.

For fun I love to go boating, camping and traveling with my awesome husband Tim & family.  My favorite island in the San Juan Islands is Sucia.  The summers here in the Pacific Northwest are absolutely gorgeous.  I have 3 amazing children.  My oldest son Nick teaches  band in the Shoreline School district at Einstein Middle School.   My middle daughter, Maggie teaches high  school  math  at Arlington  Highschool.  My youngest, Nate, is attending the University of Wisconsin and he is earning  his doctorate degree in biochecmistry.
