Rotary Foundation Global Grant Scholar (Sep. 2020 – Jun. 2024)**

* In March 2025, this fellowship was awarded by the Center for Gender in Global Context (GenCen) and the Gender, Justice, and Environmental Change (GJEC) at MSU. The funding will be disbursed in Fall 2025 to support the final stages of my dissertation.
** For each academic year, I jointly applied for the Global Grant with a focus on Economic and Community Development projects, in partnership with Rotary Clubs in Korea and Michigan. The funding was approved by the Rotary Foundation for the period from 2020 to 2024.

* I have communicated with Rotary Club Representatives in Michigan and Korea between 2020 and 2024, attended local community events, presented the overall picture of my research journey at the conferences, and helped collaborations of Rotary Clubs on the Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene projects for Honduras.

** It has been a unique opportunity to sing in various languages (e.g., English, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Bahasa, Nigerian, Hindi, etc.). I have also built up the ability to plan for those songs as one of the leaders and play with other members on the music team.
