Learn to Build Drones!

Join us as we compete in the collegiate drone competition known as SUAS (Small Unmanned Aerial Systems). Our goal is to design, build, and test a drone that can successfully complete the tasks required by the competition.

Get familiar with new technologies that test your knowledge and allow you to apply what you are learning in the classroom! We offer fun projects that range from payload vehicles to FPV racing drones.

Current Projects

Atlas | Bottle Drop | Image Recognition

Part of our 2023-2024 season goal is to update the existing Atlas to meet the needs of the SUAS competition. Students are working towards creating a water bottle drop system, AI image recognition, and overall preformance improvements.

Titan Vtol Build

Our Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) drone project. It has diverse applications, that align with the three major sub groups that pushes us to learn more. Working on a VTOL drone project allows students to see the real-world impact of their efforts and fosters a sense of purpose in their work.
