Below you will of the important information for getting to and attending our event! Please read through all of the information.
Getting to the Event
Event Location: MSU STEM Teaching & Learning Facility
642 Red Cedar Rd, East Lansing, MI 48824
Room 3202 (Third Floor)
Parking Location: MSU Lot 79
331 W Shaw Ln, East Lansing, MI 48824
Due to construction on campus, access the parking lot by turning onto Shaw from Red Cedar Rd.
Self-Organized Rideshare

Dress code: Casual & Comfortable!
It might be good to have a sweater in case it gets cold inside!
Greeters: STEM Building Entrances
Volunteers will greet you at the parking lot entrance of the STEM Building. Signs will be placed at the other three entrances.
Event Registration Desk: 3rd Floor North Hallway
Please be sure to stop at the conference registration desk to check in and pick up your nametag and program envelope.
The registration desk will be in the 3rd Floor Hallway on the north end of the building, (just outside the main event room 3202), and will be open at 8:30 am.
Parking
NON-MSU Participants: Parking Instructions
We will send you a link and instructions to register for parking on Thursday, June 6th. This will require you to register your vehicle (using your license plate).
Please be sure to accurately register your vehicle ahead of time. As soon as someone registers, we are charged, even if they do not show up. Please keep an eye out for that email and contact us if you do not receive it!
MSU-Affiliated Participants (Staff, Employees, Students)
Unfortunately, we are not able to cover MSU student, staff, employee parking for the event due to university policy.
You will have to cover your parking either through the pay-by-plate or by purchasing a pass through MSU: https://parking.msu.edu/permits

Very important: This is a peanut-free event due to dietary restrictions indicated by registrants. Please do not bring any type of food that contains peanuts in any form (including peanut oil) as the allergy is airborne.
Masking
Michigan State University uses community-level public health strategies to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and other communicable illnesses.
Masking is not required, but in consideration of those who may have family members or who are themselves immune-compromised, we encourage you to consider masking and physical distancing. If you are feeling ill, we encourage you to stay home!
Personal health/Lactation Space
Available in room 1012 on the first floor.
Gender Neutral Bathrooms Available in the building
Students, employees, and visitors at Michigan State University may use the restroom that corresponds with their gender identity.

Roundtables
Reminder: Please Review the description and goals of the roundtable you selected!

The day will open and close with full group activities, but roundtable sessions will be the primary focus of how we spend our time that day.
The event is designed for a small group of people to focus on one issue for the full day to create strategy, action and outreach mobilization plans.
Breakout spaces will be designated for each roundtable session.
We anticipate 140 people total, and somewhere between 10-20 participants at each roundtable.

Food

Morning refreshments will be available from 8:30 to 9:30 am. just outside of the general session room 3202.
Lunch will be served as a buffet and all food items will be labeled and reflect any dietary restrictions indicated in your registration record.

Lunch:
Buffet style fare from Woody's Oasis, including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options.
Beverages:
We will provide coffee and tea in the morning and sparkling water during lunch.
Please bring your own water bottle! There are several filling stations in the building.
