The Online Instructional Resources for Material Science Technology Education (MatEdU)
The Online Instructional Resources for Material Science Technology Education (MatEdU) is an NSF funded project focused on materials science. A key goal of the project is to identify and validate core competencies needed by materials technicians and general technicians. MatEdU’s Mission is to advance materials technology education nationally. MatEdU’s Vision is to be the focal point where industry, education and community collaborate to meet materials technology workforce needs.

Aiming to transform undergraduate STEM education, APLU created a network of over 200 STEM Education Centers to promulgate best practices and address shared challenges. It has a robust and growing web presence: with 130 live center profiles, a STEM Education Innovation Database, resources, and news for the community and stakeholders.
NSEC is creating a coalition to address and engage in practices that are cross- and multi-institutional via seed grants for collaborative research and implementation. NSEC has supported seven STEM education transformation communities.

The PULSE Mission is to provide academic departments with resources and skills that promote alignment of undergraduate life sciences programs with best educational practices, including those recommended in the Vision & Change Report (2011). PULSE promotes the removal of barriers to access, equity, and inclusion, and the adoption of evidence-based teaching and learning practices. Such practices promote the development of scientists who reflect the diversity of our society and non-scientists who understand science as a way of knowing about the natural world.

UERU centers around a network of R1/2 undergraduate vice presidents/provosts (UVPs), strategically situated leaders who drive university-wide innovation. UERU helps UVPs and their colleagues connect with one another and with national networks that help them advance undergraduate education (for example, in the areas of academic advising, undergraduate research, evidence-based and inclusive pedagogy, etc.). UERU members work collaboratively to develop and implement innovative undergraduate practices.
