Math Mentoring Program for Undergrads

Are you an MSU undergraduate who would like to learn more about summer opportunities, graduate school, and/or careers and career building opportunities in math? Are you interested in finding a supportive network of peers? If so, we’re excited to share that there is a Math Mentoring Program for MSU students interested in mathematics.

If you sign up to be a part of the Math Mentoring program you will be paired with a graduate student mentor. Students will meet in small groups with their mentor periodically throughout the semester. The mentoring groups will provide you with support and a place to discuss career paths, learning strategies, opportunities for the summer and after graduation, balancing your workload, etc. This is a great way to meet other students interested in math and connect with a mentor who is further along in their mathematics career.

If you would like to be paired with a mentor, please fill out this form!

Please email Tsveta Sendova at tsendova@msu.edu or Teena Gerhardt at teena@math.msu.edu if you have any questions.
