This tournament will use the EX Scoring System as opposed to the traditional scoring ratio out of 1,000,000.
Each individual step will count towards a fixed amount of points, depending on the accuracy of that step.
Point Breakdown:
Marvelous -> 3 points
Perfect -> 2 points
Great -> 1 point
Everything else -> 0 points
OK (from Freeze Arrows) -> 3 points
All modifiers present in DDR will be allowed, which include the following:
Changing the scroll speed multiplier (fast or slower arrows)
Changing the note skin (different colors, default will be the "NOTE" theme)
Lane cover setting (HIDDEN/SUDDEN+)
Arrow placement (Mirror, Rotate left/right, Shuffle)
The following modifiers, however, are not permitted:
Arrow Visibility
Timing/Freeze/Jump Arrow Cut

Participants will be given a minimum of one minute to manipulate their modifiers to the desired settings before gameplay starts
This tournament will use a double elimination bracket format, where players are eliminated from the tournament after two losses.
This tournament will use a winner's bracket and a loser's bracket.
The winners of each bracket will compete in the grand finals.
Each round will consist of a single song randomly picked through an online generator.
However:
The semi-finals will consist of two randomly selected songs, of which the EX Score performances on each song will be summed for each player to determine the winner of that match.
The grand finals will consist of three randomly selected songs, of which the EX Score performances on each song will be summed for each player to determine the winner of that match.
Participants are given a two-minute grace period after being called to appear at the front to participate in their match.
Failure to appear within the two-minute grace period will constitute a forfeit/loss for that round.
Players who are participating in matches that take place within two matches after the current match will be notified in advance to be prepared to head to the stage.
The winner of the tournament will win a $50 gift card of their choice.
The raffle will operate in the following manner:
All people who check-in and complete the Google Form on the day of the tournament will be given one entry to the raffle.
Participants of the tournament will be given an additional entry.
This means that participants of the tournament will have a total of two raffle entries.
A random number generator will be used to determine the raffle winner, and their name will be called to claim their prize.
All players and spectators are to abide by this rule:

Misconduct includes any of the following and more (at the discretion of the event operators):
Tampering with any equipment
Interfering with the players
Boisterous, rude, and/or unsportsmanlike behavior
Misconduct and/or interference with any operations of this tournament will constitute:
Removal from the event
Forfeiture of the tournament if the person is a participant
Forfeiture of any raffle winnings
Formal conduct report to MSU
