Welcome to my portfolio of work from the MA in Foreign Language Teaching from Michigan State University! This program has helped me become the teacher I am today, and has set me up for success in reflective teaching. The best part of this program is that I was teaching full time while doing coursework so I was able to see almost instantaneously how what I was learning in class worked in the real world. Of course that's not to say that I wasn't prepared to enter the classroom back in 2014. I did my undergraduate studies at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio

where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a Bachelor of Science in Language Education. Although I already had a degree in language teaching, I wanted to deepen my understanding of the theoretical work behind what I was doing, and I wanted to be more knowledgeable about language teaching so I could continue to pursue my passion of training teachers.

In this portfolio you will find culminating projects from my coursework at MSU. Anything found here represents what I feel to be true of language teaching based on the research I have done and the expert guidance I have received during my time at MSU.
