Shifting the Narrative

Greetings!

My name is Kayla Edwards, and I am professional who is deeply passionate about equity, culturally responsive pedagogy, and the overall future of Education. I hold a master's degree in Educational Leadership with a concentration in P-12 school and Post-Secondary Leadership and a Bachelors degree  in English With a background in English and a deep commitment to educational equity, I am passionate about creating transformative learning environments where all students can thrive.

My work is grounded in the belief that education is not only a tool for academic achievement, but also a powerful space for identity development, confidence building, and social change. I am especially interested in the intersections of policy, leadership, and culturally responsive pedagogy, and I hope to contribute meaningfully to conversations about how schools can better serve diverse communities.
