Vaccines

Vaccinate with Confidence is the strategic framework of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to strengthen vaccine confidence and prevent outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases in the United States.

Reversing the decline in vaccinations by encouraging teens and young adults to take responsibility for their own health. VaxTeen communicates directly with teenagers and young adults to counter this dangerous tide of misinformation, encouraging those who are unvaccinated to catch up on vaccines as soon as they can by helping them find out what immunizations they need and how they can get them.

NFID offers a variety of information, resources, and professional education about vaccines recommended for adults, adolescents, and children, including links to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) immunization schedules and information about how vaccines work.

The Vaccine Makers Project (VMP) is committed to public education about vaccine science via scientifically supported, historically accurate and emotionally compelling content. Scientists who worked with us on the development of GO VIRAL! found that playing the game significantly improves people’s ability to spot misinformation about COVID-19.

Shots Heard is a network of science advocates dedicated to combating anti-vaccine attacks online. The digital cavalry promotes vaccines and fights back against misinformation and harassment by blocking, banning, and reporting the users who spread it.

The Public Health Communications Collaborative (PHCC) was formed in August 2020 by the CDC Foundation, the de Beaumont Foundation, and Trust for America’s Health to provide unbiased communication about the COVID-19 pandemic. With misinformation and polarization eroding trust in public health, PHCC’s founders came together to create, coordinate, and amplify science-based messaging to support and enhance the communications capacity of health departments across the country.
