How Do Red Pandas Survive?

Red pandas use their claws to help them swing from tree branches. Their long wrists help them grip bamboo and branches. 

Red pandas have two layers of fur. The bottom layer is soft and the top layer is rough. They can also wrap their fluffy tail around them. These traits help them stay warm. 

Red pandas need to learn how to catch and find their own food. Red pandas eat bamboo, fruits, and insects. 

Red pandas learn how to mark the land where they live. They pee and poop on places as a way to tell animals and other red pandas to stay away.
