Mission

Morningstar Arts Creating is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit that engages community groups and people’s individual interests with a human centered approach for problem solving. Our organization tackles problem solving by utilizing the creative process to improve communication about essential needs, educational resources, community resources and meaningful collaborations with other communities, people and local leadership. Our unique and varied experiences in creative arts, cultural arts, education, wellness and civic engagement allows us to use creative arts as an art intervention in communities that are aging, serve youth during critical out of school hours, sustain essential needs, and build resources to help areas and environments affected by weather, natural disasters and dilapidation. We provide free programs, projects and skilled volunteer services while working behind the scenes to facilitate museum workshops, provide free meaningful art activities, mobilize outreach, write grants for other non profits as well as our own, and fundraise to support and empower creative positive change in our lives, communities and environment.
