The mission of the Mineral Springs High School counseling program maintains a comprehensive school counseling program that is devoted to growth that is toward academic, career, emotional, and social growth for every student. All members of the district will advocate for all students to become lifelong learners and reach their full potential in all aspects of life.

The vision of the Mineral Springs High School counseling program is to guarantee that all students are advocated for to have a safe place that prepares every student for success and growth.

Academic

Academic development guides the school counseling program to support the students' learning needs to the full capacity.

Career

Career development helps students find opportunities that are post-secondary education and careers. Planning for the future after high school building success plans and making goals to make sure the change is successful.

Social Emotional Learning

Social-Emotional development guides students to with skills that allow them to manage their own social and emotional needs

Confidentiality: it is an ethical standard that school counselors keep confidentiality with all students. All information that is shared in group or individual sessions is kept confidential.

Limits of Confidentiality: confidentiality will be broken if the information states that a student is being harmed, a student could harm themself or someone, or a legal document stating it be broken.
