District/Community Summer Reading Program
Join us Summer 2020 for our first ever Community/District-Wide Summer Reading Program, Open Books, Open Minds. This year's theme is Acceptance and we have two wonderful books that share that theme: All Are Welcome by Alexandra Penfold and Suzanne Kaufman (recommended for our PreK-4 graders) and Harbor Me, by Jacqueline Woodson (recommended for grade 5 and beyond).

Books will be distributed to students on a first come first serve basis at our lunch distribution sites on June 1st, 4th, 8th, 11th. Students may keep these books or donate back to the schools. We will also provide a link to audio recordings of both books on our website as well as a link to a Spanish translation. Books are also available at the Board of Education office (170 Frederick Ave.).
