Junior Ranger Program - Burlington County

Register starting June 4, 2025

The Junior Ranger Program is a free summer program filled with nature activities, badges, and environmental education for ages 5-12. Participants can choose to complete the activities in the program packets on their own time throughout the summer within our Burlington County Parks, or join park staff at the specific times listed in our schedule for in-person programming.  Students who complete the activity packets can receive a unique Junior Ranger souvenir patch each year they participate!  Registration is required for all guided in-person programs for Park Pal (ages 5-8) and Outdoor Adventurer (ages 9-12) and each opens two weeks prior to the event. 

An adult must be present with all children ages 12 and under for the duration of each session. Most sessions last about 1 to 1.5 hours depending on the weather.

Toucan Mobile Workshop - Cherry Hill

On the first Saturday of each month between 9 am – 12 pm, enjoy free in-person Kids Workshops. While supplies last.  Supplies are limited and can run out. We recommend arriving by 9:00am. Some stores give out workshop kits on a first come, first serve basis and only give one kit per child present.
