First GRADING tERM . . .

SeS Rewind

Fourth Grade High Ability students have been working this nine weeks to help create our daily video announcements. These announcements are played each morning for students and staff. Our High Ability students often act as anchors or even help with the video production.

Second GRADING tERM . . .

“Wonderstruck”

This grading term High Ability students in 4th grade read the novel “Wonderstruck.” In “Wonderstruck”, the main character learns that museums evolved from private collections called “cabinets of wonder.” The high ability students are working on creating their own cabinets of wonder about a certain thing, place, or time. The topics are the beach, books, and Indiana. The students have to fill their cabinets with 10 different items to go along with their topic. After creating their cabinets, the students will be writing an essay that describes the items they chose and things they learned from creating the cabinets.
