First Day Reminders

We had a wonderful first day of school! The children did an amazing job. I am so proud of their effort and enthusiasm. Here are a few reminders and some information that will be helpful as we navigate the week ahead:

Please have your child wear their PURPLE paw sticker (given out at orientation) daily.

Your child will be bringing home several items in their backpacks today. Some items will remain at school while others will come back and forth to school every day.

Remain at Home: red pencil case and supplies, reading & writing plastic pouch/bag (ELA).

Back & Forth to School Daily: Chromebook (please remember to charge), Math Manipulative Bag, Green Communication Folder (Hillcrest Hound is on the cover)

***Please send your child with a mat (if it is a vinyl yoga mat it can be wiped down & stay at school, if it is a beach towel it must go home to be washed daily), a healthy snack & water bottle (we can refill your child’s water bottle if they run out).***

SPECIALS: Specials will start the week of September 14th. They will all be done virtually, except for Science. Science will be integrated into our daily schedule at school.

Recordatorios Del Primer Día

¡Tuvimos un maravilloso primer día de clases! Los niños hicieron un trabajo increíble. Estoy muy orgulloso de su esfuerzo y entusiasmo. Aquí hay algunos recordatorios e información que serán útiles a medida que avanzamos en las próximas semanas:

Por favor, pídale a su hijo que use su calcomanía PÚRPURA con la pata (entregada en la orientación) diariamente.

Su hijo traerá a casa varios artículos en sus mochilas hoy. Algunos artículos deben permanecer en casa, mientras que otros deben ir y venir a la escuela todos los días.

Permanecer en casa: estuche de lápices rojo y útiles, bolsa de plástico para lectura y escritura (ELA).

Regreso y regreso a la escuela todos los días: Chromebook (recuerde cargar), bolsa de manipulación de matemáticas, carpeta de comunicación verde (Hillcrest Hound está en la portada)

*** Envíe a su hijo con un tapete (si es un tapete de vinilo para yoga, se puede limpiar y quedarse en la escuela, si es una toalla de playa, debe irse a casa para lavarlo todos los días), un bocadillo saludable y una botella de agua. (podemos rellenar la botella de agua de su hijo si se agota). ***

OFERTAS: Las ofertas especiales comenzarán la semana del 14 de septiembre. Todos se harán de forma virtual, excepto Ciencia. La ciencia se integrará en nuestro horario diario en la escuela.
