Mrs. Curcio: This is my fourteenth year teaching elementary school! I spent seven years teaching 4th grade in Baltimore, Maryland and I have spent the last six years in the Morris School District. I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th! I had the privilege to teach virtual all year during the pandemic and although there were challenges, it was a wonderful experience. Last year was my first year teaching with Mrs. Gutierrez and we are two peas in a pod! I am a graduate of Towson University and have lived in the area for the last five years. Growing up on a farm in Gettysburg, PA, never did I think I would find myself as a New Jersey resident, but here I am!
I have two sweet boys, Elijah (4) and Liam (2). They keep me busy outside of teaching!

Lauren Gutierrez

Mrs. Gutierrez: This is my 21st (!!) year teaching elementary school. I started off teaching third and fourth grade in Paterson Public Schools for four years and have been with the Morris School District ever since. Throughout my tenure with MSD, I have taught fourth grade, fifth grade, and the Quest program to grades 3-5. I am very excited to teach 5th grade again this year with Mrs. Curcio!
I live in Bridgewater with my husband, Greg, our two amazing kiddos, Brielle (11) & Drew (5), and our oh-so-sweet dog named Maggie. They all keep me on my toes!

We are so excited to work together again this year. We knew each other when we both worked at Sussex and actually had classrooms across the hall. It's wonderful being together again here at TJ!
