Samantha Peters

Welcome to my teacher page! I have been a proud member of the MHS community for the past 8 years and am excited to be in my second year teaching American Sign Language (ASL). I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Capella University, my teaching degree from the University of West Florida, and I am currently working toward an additional ASL certification through Purdue University.

As part of a retired military family, I have had the privilege of calling Mascoutah home for the past 10 years. Both of my children are graduates of MHS, making this community especially meaningful to me. 

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading, traveling with my husband, and spending time with my friends and family. I look forward to a wonderful year of learning, growth, and communication with my students!
