¡Hola! I am one of the Spanish teachers here at MHS. I started working here in 2023 after living in Santiago de Compostela, Spain for 2 years teaching English at a local high school with a Fulbright Grant from the State Department. In 2024, I started coaching the Scholar Bowl team here at the high school.
I first studied at Truman State University, graduating in 2020 with my BA in Spanish and again in 2021 with my MAE in Education with a concentration in Foreign Language Instruction. I student taught at Ladue Horton Watkins High School in Saint Louis. I am currently studying at Saint Louis University, working on my MA in Spanish.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, hiking, travelling, and anything Star Wars, Harry Potter, or Marvel.
If you have any questions, email is the best way to get in contact with me: jonesr@msd19.org.
