Rap Project Work

• You are working with your partner only. If you are working on tracks, you need to do make sure that you have the exact same choices. If you are working on your lyrics, all partners need to write down the lyrics on their paper. Try dividing your paper into A and B sections so you can easily see the lyrics for both sections. Please use headphones while working on tracks. Practice saying your rap with your tracks playing.

• Work on Tracks (Intro, A, B, A, B, Outro)

  • Remember: The A section should have the same exact music both times, but your lyrics will change. The B section should have the exact same music both times, and the lyrics will stay the same (like a chorus).

• Work on A and B lyrics

  • A section: Where most of your rap takes place. Include details ABOUT your theme here.

  • B section: Only 4 measures. This is like the chorus of a pop song. This is where you can include the title of your song in your lyrics.
