Extended Time

Mascoutah School District Extended Time (E.T.) is a Before- and After-School Care program providing safe, reliable care for children.  E.T. gives parents the comfort of knowing where their children are when they cannot be home.

Extended Time is a tuition-based childcare program. Students enrolled in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade at Mascoutah Elementary and Wingate Elementary are eligible to register for E.T. The program will operate every day that school is in session.

Registration is open to any child enrolled at Mascoutah Elementary (MES) or Wingate Elementary (WES) in grades K-5 provided the program can meet the needs of the child. Some children with certain special needs or individual care may not be eligible for the program. Questions on eligibility should be directed to the program director or the supervising assistant principal.

Each year a registration form and annual registration fee per child is required. The annual registration fee is $15 per child and covers both Before and After Care. Daily fees will be based on attendance and are $10 per child per day for Before Care, and $10 per child per day for After Care. There is a maximum of $25 per family per day. Daily fees are collected only for days used. You may choose to pay with check or credit card via the Smartcare system. Payments are due, in standard, every Friday. After 2 weeks of non-payment, your child will not be eligible to attend the program until the balance has been paid.

Students participating in the Extended Time program will be expected to behave and follow school rules. Disobedience will not be tolerated and will result in a Written Behavior Notice. Upon the occurrence of the Second Written Behavior Notice, the student will be suspended from the Extended Time Program. Upon the Third Written Behavior Notice the student will be removed from the program for the remainder of the year. All decisions rest solely with the Extended Time Program Director.
