Mascoutah School District Extended Time (E.T.) is a Before- and After-School Care program providing safe, reliable care for children. E.T. gives parents the comfort of knowing where their children are when they cannot be home.
Extended Time is a tuition-based childcare program. Students enrolled in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade at Mascoutah Elementary and Wingate Elementary are eligible to register for E.T. The program will operate every day that school is in session.
Registration Information
Registration is open to any child enrolled at Mascoutah Elementary (MES) or Wingate Elementary (WES) in grades K-5 provided the program can meet the needs of the child.
Some children with certain special needs or require individual care may not be eligible for the program. Questions on eligibility should be directed to the program director or the supervising assistant principal.
Each year a registration form and annual registration fee per child is required.
The annual registration fee is $15 per child and covers both Before and After Care.
This registration fee must be paid in full before the first full day of attendance.
The annual registration fee will be charged once per child and will be applied to both programs if you enrolled your child in both programs.
All registration and payments will be made through the Smartcare App or with a check made payable to MES

Students who are in need of an Individual Care Aide, are self contained, or unable to perform basic life skills independently (such as going to the bathroom) are not eligible for use of Extended Time.
