Micah Erzinger

Hello Parents and Students! Welcome to Mascoutah Middle School! I am so happy that you are here and I can’t wait to begin one of the best and most memorable years yet.

This year I am teaching 6/7th Grade Gifted, Medical Detectives, Drone Legends, and Dollars and Dreams. I am excited to bring these new classes to MMS and explore all that they have to offer!

This will be my thirteenth year teaching and my sixth year at Mascoutah!  I graduated from SIUE with my Bachelor’s in Education in 2012 and Rockford University with my Master’s in Instructional Strategies in 2019.

One pillar that will drive our classroom this year (and every year!) is developing a growth mindset. It is important for my students to know that your mindset, your effort, and your successes are your choice. Every. Single. Day. 

I am so eager to get to know you and to see you rise to the challenges this school year will present. This year will be one for the ages, and remember; if it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you!
