6th Grade Chorus ♫ Course # 66129

6th Grade Chorus meets every Tuesday and Thursday.

7th Grade Chorus meets every weekday during 2nd period. 7th Grade sectionals meet during 6th period.

8th Grade Chorus meets every weekday during 4th period. 8th Grade sectionals meet during 9th period.

In this class, chorus students develop strong vocal technique in a choral setting, work on performance etiquette, develop and refine music reading skills and musical expression, as well as sing a variety of choral songs from different genres and styles.

Chorus Class materials:

$10 fee will be required for a choral workbook.

All other materials will be provided.

6th grade Chorus performance requirements:

$10 Chorus T-Shirt which is worn for all performances along with black pants and shoes.

Performances:

4 Evening concerts which are performed on the MMS stage.

Extra opportunities:

Illinois Elementary Choral Festival

National Anthem performances for home games.
