Biography

Welcome to 1st grade at Scott Elementary! My name is Lindsay Schafluetzel (pronounced Shaw-flits-ull). I have taught 1st grade for 5 years and 2nd grade for 2 years. I live with my husband, Cody, who is a teacher in Columbia, IL, and we have two wonderful daughters. Before teaching, I had the amazing opportunity to work at Disney World! I also love traveling and exploring different National Parks whenever I can. I hold a master’s degree in education and am passionate about creating a fun, supportive, and engaging classroom where your child can thrive.
