Hello!
I am the ELA teacher for Team Falcon at MMS! I am a 2000 graduate of Mascoutah High School, and I am thrilled to teach at my own middle school. I earned my teaching degree from McKendree University in 2004 and my Master of Science Degree Literacy Education from SIUE in 2010. I began teaching in the fall of 2005.
Working with middle school kids is the best job in the world. There are so many opportunities for me to grow while I am helping others do the same. In addition to ELA, I also love history. I enjoy incorporating that content area into my own classroom whenever I can.
I live in Mascoutah with my husband and four kids. We spend our free time watching our children do the things they love!
