WELCOME TO 5th GRADE!
I am very excited to part of the Wingate dream team this year teaching ELA! I have been in education for over 20 years. It will be a pleasure to work side by side with the amazing Mrs. Crimson, who will be your Science, Math, and Social Studies teacher. This is going to be a fantastic year!
A LITTLE ABOUT ME...
I grew up in the Chicago suburbs, received my bachelors in elementary education through the University of Phoenix while living in Arizona. I also received my language arts endorsement at McKendree University. We moved back to Swansea, IL close to my husband's family. He grew up in Belleville, IL, so it is so nice to be back in his stomping grounds!
Been married for over 15 years, have three daughters, ages 10, 11, and 12. Will have a fifth grader and two sixth graders! Time goes by so fast! We are a busy family with dance, tennis, golf, softball, and art. We love to hike, and watch baseball games- we are a house divided! (Cubs and Cards).
