Hi! I’m Dr. Jami Edwards, and I have the honor of teaching fifth-grade English Language Arts, Writing, and Morphology at Mascoutah Elementary School. With over a decade of experience in both Missouri and Illinois, I’ve found that the most meaningful learning happens when students feel seen, supported, and challenged. I strive to create a classroom built on trust, high expectations, and a deep love of learning.
I earned my Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Saint Louis University, where my research focused on Collective Teacher Efficacy and how school leaders can cultivate environments that empower both teachers and students to succeed.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband, Cliff, and our two awesome kids, Eli and Caroline. Whether we’re supporting our kids at their activities or just enjoying the chaos of everyday life, I’m incredibly thankful for the love and perspective that family brings to all I do.
I am looking forward to an AMAZING school year!
