Catherine Risley-Gass

Hi all! My name is Kate Risley-Gass and I am currently in my 13th year of teaching social studies at MHS! I teach AP Psychology, Psychology, and World Cultures. I graduated from McKendree University in 2009 with my degree in psychology and then again in 2013 with my teaching certification. 

I have a son named Dansby, who was named after Dansby Swanson but we are not Cub fans. Just poor timing on his trade to the Cubs. I also have four dogs and I like to foster dogs through Stray Rescue of St. Louis. In my spare time, I like to keep active outdoors with all four dogs, my husband Brian, and our son.
