Hello and welcome! My name is Caitlyn Black, and I am a 6th-8th grade special education teacher at MMS. This is my fifth year teaching special education, and I truly feel fortunate to work with such an incredible group of students and families.

I am passionate about creating a classroom where every student feels safe, valued, and capable of success. My goal is to provide a supportive and encouraging environment that helps students build confidence, develop independence, and reach their fullest potential. I believe in celebrating every achievement (big or small) and challenging my students to grow while ensuring they always know they are cared for and supported.

Building strong relationships with students and their families is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. I look forward to partnering with you throughout the school year to help your child learn, grow, and thrive. Thank you for trusting me to be part of your child's educational journey.
