I have a bachelors in Secondary English Ed (2015) and a Masters in Higher Education & Administration (2018), both from McKendree University.
I was a student teacher at MHS (with Mrs. Aten!), but after graduation, life took me in a different direction. I went to grad school then spent 8 years working in College Admissions, primarily at WashU, where I got to work with students from all over the world - mostly China, India, and Latin America.
Over time, I realized how much I love working with high school students, so when the opportunity opened in January 2026, I returned to MHS!
I have been the MHS Varsity Cheer Coach since 2023, which is a huge passion of mine.
In my free time, I also enjoy CrossFit, yoga, art/crafting, and binge-watching my favorite shows.
