Welcome to S.E.S Pre-K!! I am so excited to be your child's Pre-K Teacher this year. My goal for the upcoming school year is to provide as many meaningful experiences that translate into your child developing a lifetime love for learning and loving school. Each student that enters into my classroom has their own unique set of talents and skills that will be put to use in creating a unique classroom environment that fosters friendship and community. Our overarching goal for the school year will be to best equip your child with the skills they need to be successful in Kindergarten emotionally, socially, and academically!
I have been working in a variety of Early Childhood settings over the past 6 or so years. I have had experience working in the daycare setting as well as a wide variety of classrooms in various area school districts during my time in college. I graduated from Greenville College in Greenville, IL in May of 2016. After graduation, I accepted a position at SES as a Pre-K Instructional Aide. This school year will be my first full year teaching in a classroom of my own. I could not be more excited to start my career at SES!!
Communication is a very important part of your child's school success. This year Mrs. Black and I have began using a GOOGLE Classroom as our main method of communication as far as reminders, newsletters, and other announcements. I encourage you to accept the invitation so that you are up to date on the goings on in your child's classroom. I am also using the PhotoCircle App to share photos with parents so that they can have a glimpse of what is going on in their child's classroom. I add new photos approximately once a week so you can see all the new things we are doing each week.
