Welcome to Kindergarten!  My name is April Jungewaelter and I am so happy to be teaching Kindergarten at Mascoutah Elementary School.  This is my 22nd year of teaching.  Prior to teaching at MES, I taught 3rd, 4th, 5th grade, and middle school computers.  This is my 15th year of teaching Kindergarten at MES and I love the adventures each day brings!

I am a busy mom of three.  My older son will be entering his 3rd year of college at SIU Edwardsville, my younger son is a Senior at Mascoutah High School, and my daughter will be a Junior at Mascoutah High School.  

In addition to teaching, I also coach Track at Mascoutah Middle School and am the JV Coach for the Mascoutah High School Girls' Basketball Program.
