Mrs. Gore

Hello! I am the assistant band director at Mascoutah Middle School. Previously, I taught band at Mascoutah High School and Mascoutah Middle School from 2020-2025, and beginning band at Mascoutah Elementary, Wingate Elementary, & Scott Elementary Schools from 2025-2026. Before coming to Mascoutah, I taught High School and Elementary Band in Alton, Illinois from 2017-2020.

My primary instrument is percussion. I received my Bachelor's Degree in music education from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. While attending SIUE, I participated in varying ensembles such as Wind Symphony, Concert Band, Percussion Ensemble, Steel Band, Orchestra, and E Band. Prior to attending SIUE I received my Associates Degree in music education from Parkland Community College in Champaign, Illinois. During my time at Parkland I participated in Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, Concert Orchestra, and Concert Choir.

A little bit about me outside of the music world: I love to spend time riding bikes with my husband and dog Teddy, reading different book series, and playing Nintendo games.
