Hello! My name is Mrs. Preston and I am the School Psychologist that serves Wakanda Elementary School. I also work with students in the District 4K Program and the Early Childhood Special Education program. My goal is to help foster children's success academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviorally by partnering with families, teachers, community professionals and other school staff. 

Some of my job responsibilities are;

• Completing psycho-educational evaluations including assessments measuring academic, cognitive, social/emotional, behavioral, functional skills etc. , to complete special education evaluation or gifted/talented evaluations

• Consults/collaborates with teachers, school staff, community

professionals to provide appropriate interventions

• Facilitates small SEL groups and 1 on 1 counseling to support development

• Crisis Intervention
