Financial Aid

What else do I need to know?

  • Educational Opportunity Center counselors can help you complete your FAFSA, but they are not affiliated with MSC. Colleges are required to consider factors in addition to your FAFSA when determining aid eligibility and your EOC counselor does not have access to that information.

  • Disbursement is when your eligible funds are applied to your MSC account and any excess is refunded to you. A list of disbursement dates is available at mscok.edu.

More information about types of aid can also be found on the MSC website.

  • Students may be required to complete additional forms or provide additional information to determine their financial aid eligibility. If additional documentation is needed, it will be listed in your Aggies Online account along with links to the forms or site to request the information.

  • Students must submit an official high school transcript and official transcripts from any other colleges or universities before their financial aid can be determined and awarded.

  • Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) must be maintained to be eligible for federal financial aid. That means that your GPA must stay at 2.0 or higher and you must successfully complete 67% of the courses you register for. More information about SAP is available on the MSC website.

  • Dropping or withdrawing from a class may affect your financial aid eligibility. Please check with your financial aid advisor prior to making registration changes.

  • Oklahoma's Promise does not pay for foundational (zero-level) courses.
