Course content may not be loaded until the day class begins.
2nd 8-week courses will not appear in Blackboard until their start date.
Blackboard works best when used with the latest versions of Google Chrome, Firefox, or Safari browsers.
If your course is not showing in Blackboard by the first day of class, verify in Aggies Online that you are registered for the course.
Course registration changes cannot be made in Blackboard.
You can modify which courses are listed in Blackboard.
On the My Courses module heading, click on the gear icon.
In the first column of listed courses, uncheck the boxes of courses you do not want to be displayed.
Click submit to save the changes.
Blackboard and Aggies Online grades are not synced. The grades that appear on your transcript are manually entered by your instructor. ALWAYS check your grades in Aggies Online at the end of the semester for accuracy.
Use the correct plugins. On the top right of the Blackboard welcome page, click the Test Your Browser button for a list of plugins you need to install to use Blackboard.
Any plugin with a red X needs to be downloaded to your computer to view or listen to media on Blackboard.
Click on Common Third-Party File Types. If you cannot open any of these documents, you will need to install a document reader, such as Microsoft Office or Apache's OpenOffice.
All classes will utilize Blackboard to some degree. If your class is lecture, ITV, Iflex, hybrid, or synchronous, your instructor will provide more information about Blackboard content and use.
